Our Philosophy
Volunteerism has been part of the fabric of American society for centuries. Hospice provides unique volunteer opportunities for individuals to contribute to the comfort of terminally ill patients and their families. Hospice has grown rapidly over the past few years and the nature of hospice patients and families necessitates a large support group of active volunteers. BOSE Hospice Care recognizes and values volunteer support for the patient and family. BOSE Hospice Care recruits, onboards and trains each volunteer to provide service to patients and families consistent with acceptable standards of practice. Whether working in administrative or direct patient care roles, BOSE Hospice Care volunteers must abide by our policies and procedures.
